Asia Pacific Senbo (Jiangsu) Pulp and Paper Phase II plans to build a 1.2 million tons high-grade white cardboard project

On December 6, the Rugao Municipal People's Government announced the environmental impact assessment report of the second phase of Asia Pacific Senbo (Jiangsu) Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd.'s 1.2 million tons annual high-grade white cardboard project. According to the report, the total investment in the second phase of the project is 6,619.82 million yuan. Among them, the environmental protection investment is 407.07 million yuan, accounting for 6.15% of the total investment; about 535 acres of new land will be added to the north of the existing first-phase project. The paper machine width of this project is 8100mm, the maximum designed speed is 1450m/min, and the working speed is generally set to 1400m/min.

Asia Pacific Senbo (Jiangsu) Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd. was established in July 2020. In 2021, it launched the first phase of a high-grade white cardboard project with an annual output of 1 million tons, and received approval from the Nantong Rugao Ecological Environment Bureau on May 20, 2021. The approval document number is Gaoxing Shenhuan Shufu [2021] No. 5. The basic construction of the first-phase project BM13 has been completed, and it will be started on October 20, 2023. It is currently in trial operation and has not yet been accepted.
